🌙 Bedtime Stars — Privacy Policy

Bedtime Stars is a bedtime-routine checklist for families. It was built to
collect as little as possible — there are no accounts, no ads, no analytics,
and no third-party services.
What the app stores
- On your device: the checklist state (which steps are
checked), the current streak of completed nights, and the family code you
chose. This stays in the app's local storage.
- In iCloud (only if you enable sync): if you enter a
family code in Settings, the same checklist state is stored in Apple's
CloudKit service so it can sync to another phone using the same code. This
data contains no names, no email addresses, and no personal information of
any kind — only the checklist state and the family code itself.
What the app does NOT do
- No personal information is collected, requested, or stored.
- No advertising, no analytics, no tracking of any kind.
- No data is shared with third parties. The only service involved is
Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), used solely to sync your checklist.
- No account or sign-in exists.
Children's privacy
Bedtime Stars is designed to be used by a child together with a parent.
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
- Sync is optional. Without a family code, nothing ever leaves your device.
- Clearing the family code in Settings stops all syncing.
- Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
